Earlier this summer, Texas Republicans passed the most restrictive anti-abortion legislation in the country. The law bans abortion after 20 weeks and restricts medication abortions. It also requires doctors who work at abortion clinics to get privileges at a local hospital and forces clinics to close unless they become unnecessary ambulatory surgical clinics. In addition to these laws, women who seek an abortion are forced to undergo transvaginal ultrasounds. Yet, anti-abortion extremists still aren’t happy. And they are willing to go to extreme illegal lengths to push their views onto others.
An anti-abortion extremist is urging the kidnapping of women to prevent them from getting an abortion.
Earlier today, one of those extremists posted on an anti-choice Facebook page called ‘Abolish Human Abortion.’ The post calls for anti-abortion activists to pose as volunteers for Cicada Collective. Real volunteers are supposed to help women who want to have an abortion get to their clinic appointment to get the medical care they need and want. The fake “volunteers” that the post calls for are supposed to kidnap these women and preach anti-abortion views to them. The abducted women would be forced to listen while being driven around endlessly until they miss their appointment. The women would then be dropped off at a church.
“Please share this email far and wide among Christian groups,” the post begins.
“It’s the email address being used by a group backed by Fund Texas Women and Lilith Fund looking for volunteers to shuttle TX women around for their abortion appointments. Consider volunteering yourself. I’m not suggesting you actually take a woman to an abortion clinic but it’s a wonderful opportunity to minister to an abortion minded woman for an hour while you DON’T take her to her clinic. And hey if you can’t change her mind by the time she gets out of your car and realizes she is at a church and not at the clinic she’s missed her appointment anyway.”
Abolish Human Abortion denies being involved with the person who made the post.
According to opposingviews.com, Abolish Human Abortion has denied any involvement with the post. They immediately called the post a conspiracy to make anti-abortion groups look bad, as if killing people and firebombing clinics doesn’t do that at all. Meanwhile, Cicada Collective is warning all of their pro-choice volunteers and women who may seek their help.
“Anti-choicers attempting to infiltrate was bound to happen at some point right? Other groups out there wanting to provide practical support to people seeking abortion care in Texas, please be careful.”
This is one of the most extreme things an anti-abortion group has resorted to doing to achieve their goal.
This ranks among the most extreme things anti-abortion activists are willing to do in order to force their narrow religious point of view upon others. They have been willing to stalk women who get abortions and their doctors. They target their families and constantly harass them. They have firebombed clinics. They make death threats and have even killed people to achieve their goal of oppression. Now, these extremist monsters are actually planning to abduct women to keep them from their doctor appointments. This is blatantly illegal. Unfortunately, seeing as how authorities have been largely unwilling to punish anti-abortion fanatics for their actions, one has to wonder if any abductor would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law if they were to follow through with the plan.
Anti-abortion fanatics are domestic terrorists.
Anti-abortion activists aren’t mere protesters. They are religious terrorists. They use stalking, bombing, killing, and kidnapping as a means to an end. They believe in forcing everyone to adhere to their extreme religious convictions. If abortion were to end, they’d only move on to trying to force another view down our throats. That’s because their agenda doesn’t end until we are all under the thumb of Biblical law. The Constitution means nothing to these people. They believe it only protects them, and them alone.
Women have every right to choose to have an abortion.
Abortion is legal in the United States. Women have the right to choose and that right is protected by the Constitution. Forcing women to give birth against their will is a violation of their rights. Abortion rights do not violate the rights of anti-abortion activists because they aren’t the ones who have an unwanted pregnancy. If the rest of the nation were to support a law forcing anti-abortion activists to shove boots in their asses, they whine about it. They’d call it a violation of their rights. They’d say it’s a violation of their privacy and that only they should get to make decisions about their bodies.

OK SOME REALLY SERIOUS SHIT IS HAPPENING IN NORTH KOREA
According to South Korean newspapers, last week the North Korean government PUBLICLY EXECUTED 80 people in 7 cities for watching South Korean/Western shows, movies, and videos, “pornography,” or possessing a Bible.
Apparently people’s attitudes and conformance are changing SO THIS IS HOW THE GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO SUPPRESS DISOBEDIENCE
They allegedly herded 10,000 innocent civilians into a stadium where they were FORCED TO WATCH THE EXECUTIONS BY MACHINE GUN FIRE
THIS IS HONESTLY SOME HUNGER GAMES SHIT HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE RIGHT NOW
And this is fucking happening while people focus on shit like Obamacare.
Did you know that in 2011 a bizarre underwater “icicle of death” was filmed by a BBC crew? They did it using timelapse cameras, under the ice at Little Razorback Island, near Antarctica’s Ross Archipelago.
The icy phenomenon, called a brinicle, is caused by cold, sinking brine, which is more dense than the rest of the sea water. When salt-rich water leaks out of sea ice, it sinks into the sea and can occasionally create an eerie finger of ice. Brinicles are found in both the Arctic and the Antarctic.
Bring on the Science! This is so cool!
Ok guys so I am doing a science.
It’s for my sexuality unit of my psychology class.
I want you to Reblog this post if you’ve heard AND believe in the existence of Asexuality.
I want you to like this post if you have either never heard the term, or if you don’t believe in it.
Please help with the science.

Remember that intimate conversation you had with your son? The one where you said, “I love you and I need you to know that no matter how a woman dresses or acts, it is not an invitation to cat call, taunt, harass or assault her”?
Or when you told your son, “A woman’s virginity isn’t a prize and sleeping with a woman doesn’t earn you a point”?
How about the heart-to-heart where you lovingly conferred the legal knowledge that “a woman doesn’t have to be fighting you and you don’t have to be pinning her down for it to be RAPE. Intoxication means she can’t legally consent, NOT that she’s an easy score.”
Or maybe you recall sharing my personal favorite, “Your sexual experiences don’t dictate your worth just like a woman’s sexual experiences don’t dictate hers.”
Last but not least, do you remember calling your son out when you discovered he was using the word “slut” liberally? Or when you overheard him talking about some girl from school as if she were more of a conquest than a person?
I want you to consider these conversations and then ask yourself why you don’t remember them. The likely reason is because you didn’t have them. In fact, most parents haven’t had them.
A leading advocate for spotlighting how the mainstream media contributes to the underrepresentation of women in positions of power and influence in America, Caroline Heldman offers straight talk and an often-startling look at the objectification of women in our society. She illustrates how it has escalated, how we have become inured to its damaging effects and what we can do individually and collectively to demolish the paradigms that keep us from a better world.
Please do what you have to do to find 13 spare minutes and watch this.
I wish this presentation would run through every University, every Highschool, every confrence at a workplace. This needs to be heard.
